Union Episcopal Church acknowledges and honors the Abenaki ancestors past, present, and future. We recognize we are located on the unceded lands of the Abenaki, and are the caretaker of lands originally taken from these First Nations and given to our founding members by the King of England in colonial times. We acknowledge this history, and we seek to find ways to honor and recognize our responsibility to the land, and to work with and elevate the traditions and history of the Abenaki and all First Nations.
